Photos of Children in India
Almost every kid I encountered, particularly in more populated areas - which was pretty much everywhere, wanted their photo taken. "Photo, photo!" they would shout at me.
This was back in the 1980s with film.
I was sort of new to the game of photography at this level.
Thus, I really didn't take enough film.
But I did get lots of portraits of these young people.
Sadly though, I took the negatives to a one hour photo kiosk.
As a result the negs were not processed properly and started to deteriorate very quickly.
I quite liked the trip. I was visiting my father, who was, at the time a doctor in a place called Vridaban.
Near Mathura, about a hundred miles south of Delhi.
The photos here are a few of which I managed to do a bit of editing.
You've never seen such a bunch of happy children.
