Significant Upgrade--for the Bridge Alone February 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have used Adobe Photoshop since Photoshop 5, recently upgrading to CS3 from CS. It is a significant upgrade--the Bridge alone is worth it! I have used similar products, but Adobe truly is the best. Also, there are numerous tutorials out there that will help iron out any problems; although, this version is pretty user friendly. Although I use CS3 primarily for photography, it is doing better than former versions when graphics are used.
Powerful, but Complicated February 15, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
The power of this product cannot be denied, but it is incredibly complicated and frustrating at times. I don't think adobe even considers the concept of user friendliness or intuitive features, yet I am in awe of what it can do. Even with an instruction book I still want to tear my hair out sometimes.
Photoshop CS3 Review February 13, 2008 Adobe Photoshop CS3 Upgrade I've been a Photoshop user for a long time, beginning with version 4. Version CS3 has me more excited than I can ever remember with a new photoshop version. I really like being able to open JPEG's and TIFF's with Camera RAW. I shoot pictures with two digital cameras, one of which can shoot RAW images as well as JPEG. The other shoots JPEG only. Another advantage is everything seems faster with CS3, especially Adobe Bridge. Bridge comes with a new version also and is included with CS3. The new Bridge has new features like the downloader, batch renaming, etc. Amazon's price was competitive and the normal delivery was almost as fast as next day delivery.
Just the Best February 12, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
As always I hear some people trash the new upgrades. I have been using Photoshop starting with 5 and I have never had a problem downloading or using it. CS3 has many new things to learn and will take some time to pick up on the many tricks but I am excited to start this new venture. If you are a serious user, CS3 is for you.
Great Product, but.... January 20, 2008 Everyone knows that Photoshop is the best in its field. The program is awesome. The only beef I have is with Adobe's customer service. Setting aside the usual issues that require calling the manufacturer, this program, like anything else from Adobe, occasionally stops working for no reason. You get an error message saying that you need to reistall the program (which takes a good long time and MIGHT work), or call customer service. If you call Adobe's customer service, you get to talk to someone on the other side of the planet named "Bob" who is very polite but completely worthless.
