 Disappointing January 3, 2008

I bought this as a gift for my mother. She's tech-savvy and I knew she wouldn't have any problems setting the frame up. After a few quiet days, I finally asked her how the frame was doing. She burst out that she just could not get it to work. The remote control did not seem to respond, even with brand new batteries. She figured she was just doing something wrong. When she put the CF and SD cards in, they did play continuously, but she had no control over the photos at all. The mp3 files did not play, nor did the avi files on the cards.
I sent the product back to Amazon for a refund, as they say they are no longer stocking this item. I will try and find a replacement for the frame, maybe I'll get lucky and the prices will go down after the holidays!
 Great Product! Easy to use January 3, 2008
I just heard about digital frames a couple months ago and decided that, even though it has a little tech to it, I'd get it for my in-laws who are 80 something. We opted for the 8x10 frame so it would be easier for them to see and show off. It took a bit to learn how to load pictures from the computer to the photo card but once I got going it was a 'snap'! My husband and I loaded the card into the frame & sent it off to his parents. They were absolutely thrilled with the photos. I think that they were more thrilled that all they had to do was plug it in and turn it on! They are waiting anxiously for more photo cards from other family members. I definitely recommend this!

I purchased this item for a gift for my parents. I filled a memory card up with pictures and then gave it to them for Christmas. They loved it! It was a big hit. Then it stopped working. Not even a week after they got it. They opened it Christmas morning and it didn't make it through the new year. It appears that it is not getting any power using the power supply cord. Now looking back I see others have had many problems. I will read more reviews next time for sure.

The product was excellent and in amazing condition. On the other hand, the time between ordering and recieving the package was extremely extended. We did not recieve the item till after a month after we ordered it. I expect much better out of companies working out of amazon.

My family would tell you that I am a picky person. After considerable research I purchased five of these frames as Christmas gifts for our family. Separately, I added 2GB SD cards and preloaded all five frames with relevant pictures for each family member. Each person who received this gift has repeatedly commented how much they enjoy viewing their pictures in this manner. The frame is a perfect size, it is easy to use, the pictures are clear and bright, and the frame is tasteful in any decor.
I don't write many reviews, but I think you too will be pleased with this frame. If it has a fault, it is that the best clarity is seen while being seated directly in front of the frame. If you are off to one side the clarity diminishes noticeably. So what else is new when viewing a monitor from an angle?
Treat yourself - buy this frame. You and your entire family will enjoy it.
