 RECHARGEABLE BATTERY November 10, 2008
oNE CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH BATTERIES IF ONE IS AN ACTIVE SHOOTER. THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN RUNNING OUT OF "JUICE" IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRIP OF A LIFETIME. tHEREFORE, ONE NEEDS TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE BATTERY READY TO GO IN ONES KIT AT ALL TIMES. THIS BATTERY IS SIMILAR TO THE ONE THAT COMES WITH THE LATEST NIKON DIGITAL SLR CAMERAS AND IS EASY TO CHARGE IN THE CHARGING UNIT WHICH COMES WITH THE CAMERA. ONE HAS TO MAKE SURE THAT ONE GETS THE PROPER UNIT INORDER TO INSURE COMPATABILITY WITH ONES CAMERA.

I always carry a back up battery in my camera bag. This one was purchased for My D300. So far this fits the bill as either the primary or back up.

I bought an extra battery and debated whether to buy a different brand or stay with Nikon, well Nikon won even though it was more money I feel Nikon stands by their product and I haven't had any problem with any other Nikon product before

A necessity for the traveler September 24, 2008
This is my second battery for use mostly in traveling. If you travel a lot and do extensive hiking, do yourself a favor and buy a few extras of these. they'll come in handy when you're in the middle of nowhere.
