3 out of 5 stars Just don't load it up...   November 30, 2008
While I still use this bag on occasion, I have to be honest when I say that I am disappointed in it.
When I first got it I thought it was Great! that was until the stitching that is holding the zipper in place started to come apart after only a dozen or so uses. I didn't have it "overloaded" either (Canon 5D w/battery grip, 24-70 f/2.8 and a 70-200 f/2.8). So yea there's some weight but not enough to have it fall apart...

4 out of 5 stars Its cool   November 29, 2008
It is good in this price range. I don't find any problem in using it.

3 out of 5 stars Really kind of awkward to me...   November 28, 2008
I bought this to house my Canon XSi, several lenses (including a 70-200mmL f/4 which is LONG) as well as some nick-nacks. First problem I had was that I have the battery grip on my XSi and that proved to be a little too "tall" for where the camera should be oriented. On a positive note, with the attached L lens mentioned before with the hood connected to the camera, there was plenty of length.
The shoulder straps are a bit hard to explain, but one review I read was able to describe it well. They just don't sit right.
Because of this and a few other quips that don't need rehashing, I decided to order the Canon Professional Gagdet Bag. This bag is bigger, of a different orientation, and has more usable pockets as well as a removable and very comfortable shoulder strap. I rearraged and took out some pockets and made most all my expensive gear fit, BUT NEITHER BAG HOLDS WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL!!! Just be aware of that. Perhaps there is a better bag, ie, bigger, out their, so I'll have to keep searching. Feel free to leave comments if you know of one such bag. For now, I'll stick with the Canon Pro Bag and use my North Face backpack for less fragile stuff. Hope this helps!

5 out of 5 stars Super backpack for careful handling my photo gears   November 26, 2008
This is my second digital slr case. The first one is a Lowepro Nova 2, in which I put Canon 40D, 17-40 mm, 28-135 mm and 50 mm f/1.4. Sometimes I feel a little inconvenient for this bag, since I may want to bring the camera with only one lens. After I plan to get a 70-200 mm f/4 IS, I buy this Canon backpack immediately. There is so much space inside that I can store all my gears. Meanwhile, different rooms divided by the cushion are very reasonable. I will mostly use this bag as the storage for my gears, and travel with it if I want to take the 70-200 mm lens with me.

Very Useful, practical product with sufficient room for an SLR, batteries, charger, lens, chips, and other necessities. . Hint, carry one or more disposable ponchos.
