The best in it's class. The smith combines history, geography, and social science like no other. Great magazine!

I ordered the Smithsonian magazine as a Father's Day gift due to the fact it was so easy and offered at such a great price. The ability to print out a gift card was a great touch because then I had something to send my dad, rather than just a promise to get something in 4-6 weeks.
The offer email I received from Amazon was really helpful when trying to think of ideas for Father's Day and the ordering process was quick, easy and cheap! Thank you Amazon!

Smithsonian is a fantastic magazine and ususlly costs at least $35 a year, so this is a wonderful value. Go for it!

I let my subscription lapse several years ago (because of the price)and really missed this great magazine. Amazon offers the best price I've ever seen, so I HAD to re-subscribe. I was a little hesitant because of some bad reviews where people complained about the lengthy wait for the subscription to begin, but went ahead anyway. I ordered on 5-4, and was informed right away that the first issue would arrive "sometime between 6-23 and 7-21". The first issue arrived on 6-24, so I am happy, and will spend the evening curled up on the sofa with it. I enjoy the thorough, thought provoking articles. Every issue teaches me something I didn't know about the world I live in. I highly recommend this magazine.
