I got this for my gf in replacement of her cell phone video camera which was worthless. My only issue has been when I upload videos, it seems to take a while, it may be the computer, but I can't check because the software will only work on one computer.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R18QSX7TOF4NRA Wait till you see what the Flip Video software did to this video. It's hilarious. This is just a few seconds of my cat sitting on a sofa. Flip turns it into something exciting and important with a couple of mouse clicks. Gotta love it! I'd give the Flip Ultra five stars if the video quality were a little better; the colors aren't true when you shoot indoors (which I mostly do).

Neat idea, however, the software is filled w/ bugs. Very frustrating from the start of loading it the 1st time, to actually using it. Lots of stall outs & restarts & just plain error messages.

Got my flip ultra the other day. Great design, but I wish it came with the usb extension as you'll find you have to prop it up if it doesn't fit right into your USB port. I used an external USB hub and it was fine.
I went ahead and set it up, then recorded my first video. It was fine, and I thought the sound and quality was good. Then I tried to plug it into my computer. The software kicked off, but once it hit 40%, it froze, and I got Write Delay failures and the software wouldn't install.
I tried to copy the files to my hard drive and run the install from there, but still got errors. The software was corrupt.
I sent my camera back to Amazon, and I'll give it one more shot.

Pros - light weight, easy to use, fits in the hand well.
Cons - batteries(better if rechargeable), resolution could be better (but it fine and the 30 frames per second makes the video very smooth)
