Umm my aunt gave it to me and i LOVE everything about it expet when i pluged it into the computer it totaly shut off WHAT HAPPEND????

I bought this as a gift for my fiancee because she said that we needed a video camera to take on trips for "our memories together". Well, I have a Sony VX2000 which is an awesome camcorder, but it is intended for more serious work and is a little large to take on vacation.
So, I stumble across this on Amazon and after looking around, I decided to purchase one. She couldn't be happier! (Well, the engagement ring took center stage, but she was excited about this too!)
If you purchase this for what it is meant to be; a fun, very portable and easy to use camcorder, you will be very satisfied. If you purchase it wanting to be the next George Lucas or Steven Spielberg, don't waste your time.
It is very easy to operate and its small compact size makes it a cinch to throw in a pocket/purse to take on the road. It has surprisingly good quality video capture and a very quick start up time. A flick of a button and the USB connector flips out and you are ready to upload your videos to your computer after a short, self-loading program installs.
Battery life seems to be pretty good. She's been using it sparingly for about a month and we are still on the first set of batteries.
If I had to complain, and trust me, I really don't want to complain about this fantastic little thing, it would be the zoom. The zoom is very limited and doesn't have a good range. That being said, I didn't expect to have a telephoto zoom or anything close. The zoom is the only weak part of this camcorder and that doesn't even detract from the overall package.
Just take a step or two forward or backward. Voila! Zoom!

We bought this video camera for our 6 yr. old grandson. He loves it. It is very easy to use. I recommend getting the rechargeable batteries, especially if it's a younger person who is using the Flip Video

I bought this camcorder for my 11 year old daughter for the holidays and she loves it. It's extremely easy to use and the picture quality is good.

Adding to other thumbs-up reviews. It has software in camera to automatically installs to Windows. Small and compact and easy to use. Great for low-end clips. Includes editing features in software -- but stripped down and simple, unlike other cumbersome software that often comes with cameras....
