Nice case, easily hidden beneath shirt or jacket when worn on belt, or be a geek (like me) and let it show. Easy to put hand through strap and get camera in and out of case without looking. Extra battery is pretty essential since there is no remaining charge indicator on camera. There is a black strap to match the case which can be used instead of the gray nylon strap that comes with the camera. At first I thought the black strap was superfluous, but then I had occasion to wear the camera when I was all dressed up fancy like, and the black strap really completes the stylish appearance of the package. I'm glad I got this kit with my SD700, which I am also very happy with.

I bought this camera case for my and my husband's SD400 and SD450. An extra card fits in the little pocket inside and the extra battery fits nicely into the belt loup on the outside. Then everything fits in a pocket or purse, and we are "good to go." I carry my camera with me all the time. Major travel or particular picture taking needs find the slave flash in the other pocket. No problem!

The case is made of high quality leather, but I did not like the leather strap.
My biggest complaint with the case is that it does not include a small pocket for an extra SD card and ideally an extra battery.
The case I have for my SD400 has a pocket. Having the extra battery always with the camera allowed me to capture several of my best pictures that I would have otherwise missed.
I will be looking for a different case.

This is a great camera that has met all of our needs. It actually makes taking pictures fun! Our main concern was finding a camera that actually took the picture immediately after pressing the button as our old camera was slow and we kept missing the good shot of our kids smiling. But not only did we get that feature, we also found lots of other nice things about it. We love the auto rotate feature when reviewing the images and the image stabilizer works great! I actually took it on a bouncy castle and got great shots. The menu on the camera is also easy to use and we picked it up right away.
