Kingston 2GB Micro SD in Garmin Vista HCx September 2, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This card works great in my Garmin Vista HCx. The City Navigator NT maps consume about 1GB which leaves plenty of space for topo maps and tracks. 1GB would not be enough. If buying a Garmin GPS, get the 2GB, it's worth the extra couple of dollars.
SD memory card September 1, 2007 A MUST when traveling with a digital camera with 6MP or more; I tend to take >500 photos on my extended vacations (10 days or longer). Nice to have a couple of these available.
A Great Value September 1, 2007 14 out of 16 found this review helpful
This is not noticably different from other name brand memory cards. It works exactly the same as any other quality card that I've tried; some of them costing 2 or more times as much. I've tried them in my notebook, desktop, camera, LG-Env, LG-Chocolate, and Motorola Razr with no problem. I will definitely be buying more of these soon.
Did not work September 1, 2007 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Both Kingston 4GB SD Cards I bought did not work in my camcorder (Canon Elura 100), my Palm Pilot (Zire 31), or the reader on board my notebook computer (LG F1 Express Dual). I wasted some time trying to make them work, and then fell back on my old adage - "If I can't make it work within two hours, it ain't designed right. Go back and buy something that is." Of course, the literature that came with the devices said not all SD cards will work with them, but ALL technology says that. And, sure, Kingston could try to test every device and publish a list of compatible hardware, but there are probably way too many possible combinations to make that feasible. It is left up to us poor consumers to do the testing. Kind of like furniture and bicycle manufacturers relying on us consumers to do all their final assembly and quality control. Slick on their parts.
Fine product - Responsive Service August 29, 2007
The product that I received from the seller was in good condition. The product has been working fine as on date. Again, No qualms on the quality of the product. The seller was responsive in coming back to me on my queries and order sent in time . :-)
