Another BAD experience with an HP product February 3, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! The camera worked fine for the first few months with the exception that it used batteries at a ridiculous rate. If I took approximately 30 pictures I would have to go thru 2 sets of batteries. If I took 5 pictures and put the camera away for a couple of weeks I would have to replace the batteries to take pictures. Then for no apparent reason it's functionality started to go awry. I try to take pictures of my kid's during special events and the flash would'nt go off and I'd get a VERY low light picture. I'd push the Flash Settings Button and it would start recording a video. I also bought a new computer that came with an HP printer that did'nt work properly straight out of the box. Every time I tried to print something it would pull the paper unevenly and result in a jammed up printer. NO MORE HP PRODUCTS FOR ME.
A little disappointed... December 17, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This camera seems to be very easy to use and has great graphic instructions on the camera but I had difficulty operating the camera at night and went on a trip to Lake Powell and the camera stopped working completely (perhaps the heat was an issue) but other people who were also on the trip had no problems with their cameras
Apparently I also need a memory card and not just batteries because the camera will only take 2 or 3 pics with two double AA batteries! Then it says it must shut down
Great Camera October 8, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a great buy. Bought this over year ago and paid like $100.00. The pictures and easy use of the camera are great. I am just a casual camera user and I'm able to take great picture with it. My girlfriend uses it all the time and loves it. I would recommend it for a person who is looking for a easy to use camera that takes great pictures.
A nice beginner's camera September 22, 2007 I bought this camera for my 9 yo daughter's birthday. It takes very nice pictures and she says it is easy to use. There aren't a lot of dials, settings, etc to confuse the issue too much. She loves the video feature, although you have to transfer the files to your computer to hear the sound on the video. Video quality is only so-so, and jumpy, but for what she'll use it for, its fine. A minor detail. Battery life seems good, although I have switched her to rechargables now! So if you want a simple, basic camera with some nice extra features, it is a good buy. If you want more bells and whistles, consider another camera.
Great camera August 27, 2007 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
This camera is perfect for all types of photography. I don't go anywhere without it.
