Great little charger! June 12, 2008 I love this charger! I bough it because I left my other charger and battery in a hotel, and actually like this one more! I love the fact that it is so compact and that it has a CAR ADAPTER! I haven't had the opportunity to travel to Europe yet, but when I do I will definitely take advantage of that adapter as well! So far no complaints, but I have only had it for about a month, but I still get the same great charge I do from the original. I definitely recommend this, because of the size and the awesome price! Two thumbs way up!
Great low cost alternative! March 28, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I couldn't find the battery charger that came with my Canon camera. I finally couldn't wait any longer and ordered this version.
It plugs into the wall socket the same way as the slimmer "official" Canon charger. The larger size is a non-issue for me.
For anyone who bought this and found that it didn't charge your battery... that it went right to a green light... try turning the battery around. :) I made the same mistake too at first because of habit from the original charger. If you look closely at the battery and the charger you can clearly see that the charger needs the metal part of the battery to make contact to be able to charge. :)
Bonus to have the car charger too!
AND... the product arrived a day early. Fantastic!
Good charger for the money! March 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I needed to replace my lost $40 charger (came with the camera, Canon SD-1000 Canon PowerShot SD1000 7.1MP Digital Elph Camera with 3x Optical Zoom (Silver)) and found this CTA. My lost charger was slim and compact, but this charger outdistanced it with its lower price, auto charger plug and adaptor.
No stars -Doesn't work March 4, 2008 I tried to go "cheap" to replace a lost charger. It did not work- at all. It is too little money to fight sending back etc but this goes to show you often get what you pay for.
It just didn't work. March 3, 2008 I plugged it into the wall, put my exhausted battery in, and it glowed green, right away, like the battery was fully charged. It just didn't work, so I returned it.
