Go BIG! April 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I didn't intend on taking a lot of pictures so I thought to get the 512 or 1 GB card. But then a friend said that a movie takes up a lot of room and so I got the 2 GB card. For only a few dollars extra it's worth it. Then you never have to be concerned over not having enough space, and, the San Disk brand has never done me wrong.
2.0 GB Sanddisk SD Card April 20, 2008 I like the product. The shipping was fast and great.I would recomend anyone to buy here!
Beware of Sandisk April 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I recently read an article of counterfeit items coming through a variety of channels. I have a bunch of Sandisk memory devices and I found three out of the 8 were counterfeit, including one very expensive CF card.
Sandisk might be a fine manufacturer and getting a bad rap because of the counterfeit items.
But as a buyer you've got to ask yourself two questions: 1. If some of these have even come through Amazon, which is a very reputable company in my opinion, what's my risk in buying a Sandisk device? This is particularly true when you can buy an equivalent Kingston device for less. 2. What is Sandisk doing to go after the counterfeit market? When this problem happened to Microsoft they clearly went after the perpetrators, let everyone know what was happening so they could better avoid the problems, and creatively came up with solutions to help fix the problem. I've got the strong feeling that Sandisk would rather hide the problem after talking with their support.
SanDisk 2 GB SD card way too SLOW April 14, 2008 card is cheap and that's about it. It is way too slow to keep up with a DSLR. Get the faster high speed card. This one sucks
Great product for less than the retail stores....high shipping! April 14, 2008 The 2.0 GB SanDisk is a great price and substantially less than the department stores. However, beware of the shipping - the shipping is very high and once shipping is added in, you are almost at a point where it is worthwhile to consider going to the store and you will get the product much faster. While delivery is certainly part of the luxury involved in online ordering, the delivery charges on this item were approximately 85% of the item cost. In other words, I paid $8.19 for the product and $6.95 for the shipping.
