 Amazon mis-direction September 5, 2008
I purchased the Canon Powershot S5 IS and Amazon automatically teamed it with this case. It does not fit and is obviously not intended for this camera, what more can I say? It may be a fine case but I cannot use it for my camera.Canon PSC-75 Deluxe Soft Case for PowerShot S1 IS, S2 IS, and G6

I was looking for a reasonable priced protective case for my canon and could not find anything for a good price that didn't resemble an industrial backpack!!! Although this does not have storage space, it is a good purchase for the money. It is not overly "padded" but would protect from dust, spills, scratches, sticky kid fingers and a low drop :) The zippers make it easy to open and shut. My only downer was a lack of a clip or some such device on the case itself to attach it to the camera or camera strap once it is open and free from the camera. Although some people may not want this I found myself trying to hold the case under my arm to take a picture or set it down and then having to remember to pick it up. I purchased a small "carabina" from REI and attached it to the case and it now is firmly attached to the strap. Overall very satisfied with the price and the case.
Soft case exactly what I wanted August 18, 2008
The soft case for the Canon PS 5I fits like a glove and was delivered overnight as I ordered. Very satisfied with this purchase.
Excellent protective case August 18, 2008
This case is meant as a protective case for the camera only. No, it does not have a strap. The camera (Canon S2, S5 IS) comes with a neck strap that attaches directly to the camera. You put the case on the camera, the neckstrap comes out of the case and goes around your neck. I use the little loop to attach the case to the neckstrap when I am using the camera. I would not be comfortable with my camera lying around not in this case.
