 Great Deal on an Extra Battery! August 16, 2008
This is a great price for an extra battery. I bought it for my wife's new Canon SD1100IS.
The first battery was defective but Amazon quickly shipped out a replacement even before I sent the bad one back. No extra shipping charges for the replacement or for sending the first one back.
Great price and excellent customer service.

the battery definitely doesn't last as long as canon's but good enough as a backup battery.
 Works with a few glitches August 6, 2008
I bought this in 2007 with a Canon SD1000. It charges fine with the Canon charger. After about 5 minutes of use the low-battery light starts flashing on the camera, but if you ignore the warning, it works for much longer. Eventually the camera will shut off stating "Change Battery Pack", if you remove and re-insert the battery it works for a few more shots or a few more minutes of video. The original Canon battery works fine without any of these glitches. So I'm assuming that the problem is with the Lenmar battery. It cost me about 25% of what the Canon battery would have cost and therefore give 3-stars for still being able to use it even with a few glitches.
Works fine August 5, 2008
This Canon substitute battery arrived promptly and packaged securely. Charged without difficulty. Took 456 pics without recharge. Won't give 5 stars until it's gone thru sufficient charge recycles. Can't beat price($10 instead of $30)

Just bought this product earlier this month. I cannot speak for the longevity of the battery, but so far it lasts as long as the official Canon battery. We shall see what happens.
