Well worth the money February 9, 2007 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
Worked as advertised out of the package. That's all I ask.
Noticeable improvement over standard SD card in 7 MP camera. Recovery time between shots and in playback mode was much faster.
Price paid was less than other brand's standard 1 GB card.
Quality seems to be there as well. This is a no brainer.

Excellent quality. I'd buy another one if I actually needed all that memory!
Fast Memory Card for the money (Elite Pro 1 GB) January 11, 2007 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
The Kingston Elite Pro 1 GB SD is a fast memory card for the money. Running read/write tests using a Lexar Media USB 2.0 Multi Card Reader I wrote 75 image files totaling 236.4 MB. These were JPGs from a 6 MP digital camera.
Kingston Elite Pro Write time: 1 min 48 sec (2.19 MB/s) Read time: 0 min 36 sec (6.57 MB/s)
For comparison, a generic card purchased from wally world the day after Thanksgiving was half as fast.
Impact 1GB SD Card Write time: 3 min 50 sec (1.02 MB/s) Read time: 0 min 50 sec (4.728 MB/s)
For Comparison, my Sandisk Ultra II and Extreme III CF cards: Write time: 1 min 5 sec (3.64 MB/s) Read time: 0 min 54 sec (4.40 MB/s)
Great card for the money, fast read times and good write times, and most importantly this is a superb value.
Good memory card, great support from Kingston December 13, 2006 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
I've had good luck with Kingston memory cards. My 1 GB card failed after 4 months, but Kingston has a lifetime warranty and the RMA process is painless. They even pay for Fed Ex shipping of the failed memory. I had my brand new card much faster than I expected and it works great.
Great card for the price. August 18, 2006 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
Memory cards really only need to be fast enough to move a few photos or files at a time; this card will perform well in most new devices. The price is great and Kingston's customer service and quality products make this a worth while purchase. I own two 1GB Ultra III cards by Sandisk and I use my Kingston along with these fast cards interchangeably in my Canon SD400 and S3IS. The speed of this card is the same as the Ultra III; taking large photos and movies does not phase this card at all. The bottle neck, and hence the speed of the read and write cycles, is largely limited by the camera's buffer so I doubt that most cameras will experience a significant difference between this card versus the Ultra III. It is a good value for the price and I am happy with my purchase.
