It works well I only wish it was more compatible with the Mac. The button does not work with Macintosh computers, but the reader still works just fine. Plug a card in to it and the system detects it. To eject the card on the Mac just use the normal drag and drop, or if you have it set up right click procedure.

I needed an inexpensive, yet reliable, SD flash card reader for my Sansa player and digital photo frame. I was toying with the idea of installing a 3.5" multi-format reader in my computer but most of the reviews here and elsewhere were very mixed. I've had good experience with Sandisk products to date so I decided on this unit. I don't bother installing the software for these types of devices. I just let Windows XP find it as a removable drive. So far it has worked just like a USB thumb drive. I also like that the SD card sticks out about 1/2" so there are no buttons to push or break. Thanks Sandisk and Amazon.

The Sandisk SDDR is easy to use. Basically acts as an additional drive. Easy to read and write to any card.

Primero, compre el producto por internet desde peru via amazon y via sky box usa, sin ningun problema, salvo algo de los costoss un poco mas de lo esperado.
El producto muy bueno, algo grande para ser portatil, pero lo probe sin ningun problema en una laptop con windows xp, todo bien, funcionamiento excelente.

I'm using this with desktop Linux ubuntu. Always plugged into 7 port hub, no additional setup needed-plug and play! I thought there would be problems with Linux recognizing-but no problems at all! Highly recommended
