meets original equipment specs- no problems I bought another battery from a 3rd party manufacturer, but the contacts were poor and did not work after 6 months.

I used this on a recent 5 day trip with my XTi. Took over 300 photographs with a lot of flash use and it held almost a full charge. Worked great!

Good battery to have as a backup to my Canon XTi. Lasts as long as the original. Highly recommended!

No really, I have never seen a battery last so long between charges. The Rebel XT must use a lot of power between, taking reviewing and erasing pictures, plus the screen use for pictures. I can take HUNDREDS of pictures without a charge between. Nice job Canon!
