5 out of 5 stars Excellent Quality Camera Bag   October 17, 2007
Excellent service, and product was exactly as advertised. I had previously checked the article at several retail stores prior to finding the item on Amazon, and I was amazed at the savings in price. The camera bag is exactly what I needed, and quality is exceptional. Good job Amazon!

4 out of 5 stars Great quality for the price, but not perfect.   October 5, 2007

I got this bag because the Canon Backpack I have been using is just not ideal for use all the time. It's hard to quickly get things if I need them, and I really wanted a more traditional bag. Unfortunately, most camera bags this size are very expensive. This one was a great deal so I thought I'd give it a try.

The quality is great. The picture shows black plastic latches on the front, but the bag i got had nice chrome plated metal latches, and they feel very tough. There are tons of places for storage and the included shoulder strap and padded and comfortable. There are straps on the bottom to connect a tripod or monopod, and some hooks on the back to attach things like lens cases, etc.

My only regret is that I didn't get this bag sooner. I have a 40D now, which is a little bigger than my old XTi, and I also have some bigger lenses than I used to. I suppose you COULD get 3 bodies and 3 lenses in this bag, but they would have to be small bodies without battery grips, and small lenses. Unfortunately I can barely fit my 40D, 24-105 and 28-200 lenses - and that's only after removing all the velcro compartments from the inside.

I am not going to return the bag, because it works fine, and I really don't want to carry anything bigger at this time. The biggest problem is that giant 28-200 f/2.8 IS lens. When attached to the body, it barely fits in the bag. If you don't have any larger lenses, I highly recommend this bag. I suppose I could just clip my large lens cases to the outside of the bag to leave more room for my other items, but right now it is working out for me, just barely.

This is a nice bag. It was too big for my needs so I returned it.

5 out of 5 stars A must if you have lots of extras for your digital camera!   September 1, 2007
I love this bag! There are enough compatrments to safely organize my camera, three lenses, flash cards, lens hoods, etc! It worked great for a wedding I just shot- everything was in it's own compartment thus allowing me easy access to any equipment change I needed to make. I also just travelled abroad and easily transported all of my equipment with this well made, convenient bag.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent Bag, you won't be disappointed   August 23, 2007

This bag is a pretty good deal and is quite nice. Here's the breakdown.

Pros
-Bag is big, it can carry pretty much everything it says it can
-Padding is excellent better than the padding on my Ape Case bag. Bottom padding is excellent. There are also two rubber pieces on the bottom to protect the bag.
-Comes with plenty of dividers so you can configure it however you want
-Top lid has velcro so you can secure the bag relatively well without having to buckle the buckles in place everytime. Velcro is only on the two sides of the top lid, not on the front of the lid.
-Shoulder strap is on a pivoting hinge so the strap never gets twisted up. One reviewer for the Canon 2400SLR bag says that its strap is not pivoting. For me this is a big plus!

Cons
-The bag is big, bigger than the pic. Don't get this bag if you're just taking one lens and one flash with you, there'll be too much empty space. This bag would be good if you're an amateur with about 3-4, maybe 5 lenses, and one body, going on a photography trip. So this is not really a con if you want something big.
-The shoulder strap has padding but the padding isn't adjustable so it's hard to get the padded part on your shoulder perfectly. The shoulder padding should slide on the shoulder strap but instead is fixed.
-The two main buckles have a pro & con. The female portion of the buckle is metal while the male portion of the buckle is plastic. Uh, why?
-Zipper compartments don't have double zippers, just one, so when you open the compartment, you open it at the very bottom of the zipper line. It can be easy to have things fall out since the lid can flop right open, especially the front compartment.
