5 out of 5 stars Great addition if you like to do close-up work   November 29, 2007

This is a great piece of kit if you want to transform one of your existing lenses into a macro system.

5 out of 5 stars Good but...   October 15, 2007

This accessory is for anyone looking to get into close-up/macro photography. I own an E-300 with the generation one kit lenses and the 35mm f/3.5 macro lens. This accessory works best with the 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5. With the 14-45mm f/3.5-5.6 it's only useful at 45mm and you'll be too close for useful macro shots. I've heard the 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 lens provides decent results.

5 out of 5 stars Great ! Nice extra for 4/3 system   September 24, 2007

It works very well with the Zuiko 40-150mm telezoom. The first day I got some nice photos to flowers and small animals: spiders, butterfly, and so on. And its price was convenient. Tripod/flash highly recommended.
I recommend this EX-25 extension tube for begineers in macro (as I am).

4 out of 5 stars more for studio use   June 16, 2007

This is an excellent addition for macro photography. It's not a great a product for walking around taking snapshots. A tripod and probably a ring flash setup will render the best results. Getting a sharp focus from an inch or so is very difficult with a handheld camera. Most effective with the 50 mm macro prime lens.
