Good for the price November 2, 2008 Good bag for the price. My 5d with batter grip was a bit of a tight fit, but swapped the direction of the inside camera compartments, which worked better. Has a decent amount of external storage space.
Good Value November 2, 2008 Over all this little backpack is really great for the price. It certainly will accomodate everything the hobbiest photographer might want to carry and at a better price than the competition. My wife was very pleased.
Took it hunting October 31, 2008 I needed something to hold my EOS 40D safely while hunting. This completely filled the bill with a few exceptions. Pros 1) Had good color not cammo but almost just as good. 2) space for other equipment both hunting and camera . Cons 1)Would like to have a place to put a water bottle out side the pack.
Tons of room October 30, 2008 I'm very satisfied with this product. It has tons of room for lenses, flashes, anything I can think of. It even has two straps, one on each side for a monopod and tripod. Great product.
nice bag October 28, 2008 I searched many camera websites until i finally resorted to the trusty Amazon website for locating this bag. I did a lot of research on the camera websites along with visits to Best Buy and Circuit City, and found that most of these bags are very similar in design and function. Sure, some of them have much larger pockets or more strappy things to hold stuff down, but this one just works right. I actually got it from UPS yesterday and loaded up my camera (Nikon D60), 2 lenses, 3 batteries, charger, USB cables, protective caps and cases for my lenses and filters, and still have half the bag empty. There are even outside pockets with velcro flaps to close them that are just the right size for smaller pocket cameras if you need a bag to carry any "compact" backups for those moments an SLR is too big or too expensive to risk losing or damaging during an outing (like 4-wheeling, sailboat racing, or rock climbing).
Each compartment is fully adjustable with the velcro dividers. Not rocket science, but it truly works well. Zippers are of good quality, straps are plentiful on the outside, and padding is thick enough to prevent major damage that would occur with generic backpacks. Bag looks good with the right color blends. I found many bags with the same design features that were double if not triple the price. Could not find obvious reasons to pay $100 when this one is just as comparable in function and sells (only on Amazon mind you) for less than $40. And since it is direct from Amazon, you can take advantage of the Super Saver Shipping deal!!!
Amazon is the best in service and i rate them as such. The bag is just another quality product at a good price that they have provided me.
