5 out of 5 stars Great deal   March 18, 2008
Great tripod could'n be happier with it, I don't think you can get a better tripod for the price.

5 out of 5 stars Great Lightweight Tripod   February 24, 2008

I am pleased with my purchase! The Tiffen Tripod Traveler is very lightweight and comes with a nice travel case. I've been able to take it many places and successfully use my camera and video camcorder. An excellent product and the price is great!

1 out of 5 stars Easily broken   October 17, 2007

The hand crank on the tripod broke the first time I used it. Called Tiffen to get a replacement since they have a ten year warranty on their product. They said they would send out the replacement part, but after longer then a month I haven't received anything, which I'm sure will be the case until I throw the piece of c... out!!! Also, the camera moves on the tripod when the shutter is pushed. This seems odd since the use of a tripod is supposed to prevent this from happening. Dissatisfied customer. Don't buy if you expect to have the item repaired if it breaks within the warranty period, a laugh out loud ten years, or if your serious about quality. Better make that warranty ten minutes gentlemen!!

4 out of 5 stars Good low price   September 3, 2007

For a basic tripod you can't beat this one for the price. The footprint is rather large so make sure you aren't in a crowded area.

3 out of 5 stars Flimsy but cheap   June 26, 2007

This tripod is too short (I virtually always use it extended to full height, including the head), too flimsy (it struggles to hold my Canon 400D still, even with a small lens), and difficult to adjust (the same camera is virtually impossible to hold at much of an angle). The removable head is also a bit flimsy. However, it's also light, and ridiculously cheap. Don't pay more than $15 for it, and you won't be disappointed.
