I take a lot of nature related photos (especially birds), and find the SanDisk Extreme III SD memory card the best possible card for this purpose!
Fast SD Card May 21, 2008
This 2.0 GB card is much faster than my older 1.0 GB standard cards. Plus, the price for these cards was only slightly more than what I paid for the slower cards less than a year ago. So I am happy with this purchase.
Extreme III - Extremely Fast! May 20, 2008
I purchased one of these to use in my Panasonic DMC-FZ18. The card is very fast and the the card is large enough to last through a battery with the camera on full time for taking bird pictures.
Digital Camera Memory May 18, 2008
I normally use SanDisk Ultra II cards. Tried these cards and they are noticeably faster. The only down side is the SanDisk card reader I have will not read cards over 1 gigabyte so I cannot take advantage of the higher read speed.
This card's speed increase is not as big a change as going from a standard card to the Ultra II card. I'm not sure the extra cost is worth it. If I could take advantage of the potential down load speed it might be worth while to spend the extra money for this card.
Great non-HD memory card May 15, 2008
This was the perfect memory card for my wife's camera. It has very fast read and write times and you just can't go wrong with SanDisk....
