It is a battery, need I say more? January 16, 2007 Spare battery for my Canon SD900. It works great, always good to have a spare.
good choice January 15, 2007 it is very convenient that have another battery for Canon camera, because the camera could not show when the battery inside will be run out. I felt comfortable everytime I could change the battery to go on taking my pictures over those beautiful scenes. And the most importance is that this battery is as good as the original one with the camera.
Good Battery - Great Wide Angle on the SD800 Camera! January 10, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This battery appears to be a genuine Canon battery. It was shipped to me promptly. The battery holds a charge well and runs the camera for a substantial period of time. It does not appear to self-discharge unusually quickly. It has neither leaked nor caught fire. I have not instrumented the battery so as to evaluate the charge capacity. Just how much can you say about a battery? Now, if you want to talk about the camera that this is for, the Canon SD800, then we can have a conversation! It's great! Especially the wide-angle end. That is why I purchased the SD800. Many potential camera buyers never pay attention to the wide-angle end of the zoom lens on a digital point-and-shoot camera, but when you're trying to take a group photo indoors, you really notice how wide the lens can go. The SD800 is 28mm wide (using the standard 35mm equivalent), which is SUBSTANTIALLY better than the usual 38mm or worse that most cigarette-pack-size digital point-and-shoot cameras have. You would do well to take this sort of thing into consideration the next time you hunt for a digital point-and-shoot. And, the colors! The DIGIC-III sensor system produces a dynamic range far better than my Nikon D-100. You can find my photos at edboakes -dot- com or at CapturedAmbiance -dot- com
