Works as advertised, no streaking! October 7, 2008 I have a Canon Digital Rebel XT (350) which cannot be cleaned with the original Eclipse formula. I was a little concerned after reading some reviews indicating that this formula is inferior and may leave streaks. Having no choice, I bought it. It worked fine. I added a few drops to a size 2 cleaning pad, ran it across both ways as instructed, and my sensor is just as clean as the day I bought the camera (maybe cleaner.) It's an expensive product, but I don't expect to need it very often so it should last a long time.
Use the original version September 3, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The original Eclipse version of this product (methyl alcohol) is better at cleaning the sensor. The E2 version is okay if you have no other choice. it was created to avoid problems of air travel restrictions.

Gets the job done! July 19, 2008 This cleaner gets the job done. My D3 has some unique sensor spots that looks like grease spots that gets cleaned easily with E2 swipes. It works very well!
D40 and D300 Sensor Cleaner June 24, 2008 Read the instructions from Nikon. It is critical that you use only this stuff if you need to use a liquid to clean the CCD/CMOS.
Mistake May 4, 2008 I bought this problem not knowing that I can't use it on my Canon 5D CMOS. but it works fine on my Rebel XTI CCD.
