Product Description The Pro Sling Pack is a larger version of Tamrac's popular Photo Sling Pack. It can be carried comfortably like a backpack, but can be swung around to the front to provide quick access to a pro-sized 35mm or digital SLR like a Nikon F5 and D1 or Canon's EOS 1V and 1D with a 200mm zoom lens attached. A well-padded sling strap comfortably distributes the weight, but need not be removed to quickly access photo equipment. Outside, a large mesh pocket is ideal for carrying an energy bar or water bottle, while organizer pockets inside keep a mobile phone, PDA, or photo accessories within reach. A Windowpane-Mesh pocket inside the lid stores filters. Compatible with Tamrac's Modular Accessory System components to customize this pack with Tamrac accessories.

Good Bag but Strap Needs Work October 21, 2008 I have owned this bag for about a year and wanted to share my experience with it. Here are the pros and cons of this bag:
Pros: -Good design inside for storage and for day trips. -One of the best looking bags I have seen -The flip around design works fairly well -Good build quality
Cons: -The sling system does not work very well for me. The strap tends to rise up my chest over time until it is rubbing against the base of my neck. This happens with or without the waist strap secured. I am constantly having to adjust the bag or hold the strap as I walk. This spoils the bag for me.
I would not purchase this bag again and will be more careful about sling bags in the future.
Well built but clumsy to use. June 3, 2008 I've had this bag about 6 months. It is well built but clumsy to use. All weight is on one shoulder. when shoulder strap is adjusted out to access camera as a side or front bag you a have to readjust to use waist strap in back pack position. Top speed flap is held down with 3 quick-release buckles, not so speedy. Front pocket could use expander pleats and a longer zipper for better access. Not mush room for battery charger and chord.
Wonderfull Bag February 8, 2008 I already had owned the smaller version of this bag that I used for my Rebel XTI and I loved it for it's versatility. This bag, although larger, is almost the same.I use it with my Canon E5 and love the way it slides from the backpack position to the front of me where I can use it. It easily accommodates the E5 With a Canon 100-300mm lens attached plus scads of accessories.
great bag for photographer October 10, 2007 terrific bag. easy to use, comfortable and has ample storage for my Nikon D200 with battery pack+lens and two other lenses.
Great bag at a great price June 13, 2007 This is my second tamrac camera bag and I have no major complaints. The only reason why I did not give five stars is because I have seen a newer version of this same bag that zippers and think that would be a better buy than three clips. I am able to reach around the clips to grab my small lenses, which is great, but then I think of all the dust and insects that can do the same. Very cormfortable to wear all day loaded with two Canon Rebel bodies and three heavy sigma lenses!!!
