2 out of 5 stars Not Really 8x10   March 18, 2007

Two problems with this photo frame.

1. It is NOT 8x10 as advertised. The frame is 8x10 matted down to a screen that is 6x8. It's resolution at 600x800 is an odd ratio that will require re-cropping all of your images.

2. The software is NOT VISTA compatible and there are no updates or patches on the manufacturers website.

If you can live with the above, it's nice. I could not get it to import pictures from my flash drive (USB) but I admittedly didn't try very long. I had to transfere the pic's to an older XP machine from my Vista machine, then to the frame.

viewing angle is terrible. If you're not directly in front of it, you can't see the pictures. But it was the thought that counts, right?

5 out of 5 stars Great gift   January 10, 2007

We received one of the frames as a gift for Christmas 2005 and were so excited about the possibilites! We gave each family member a frame this year and it is so easy to change, delete and add new pix plus for a special occassion you can plug in a jump drive and play video or a different set of pictures and not disturb your regular memory pix. We did this for a friends 50th birthday party and had it playing throughout the party!!

3 out of 5 stars Digital Spectrum USB Digital Photo Frame (8x10)   January 10, 2007
This Digital photo frame is definitely not user friendly. It requires the installation of software and then is limited to 80 pictures in the slide show. It would be much easier to just load a show on a memory card, a technology found in many other digital photo frames. I would not purchase it again since it is limiting and labor intensive. Also, it does not come with a remote control as do many others.
