Professional Tripod / Collar Lock Ball Socket Head "The OS-7315 professional tripod is an excellent choice for both the enthusiast and advanced photographer, and has exceptional value for the cost. This tripod has a wide picture taking height range. With a maximum height of 65.75", this heavy-duty tripod can get you to the shooting height needed, and while in the full low angle leg spread you can capture pictures at a minimum height of 22". This ball socket head rotates 360 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically allowing unlimited viewing positions, and features a level bubble for precise leveling. Also included is a quick release camera mounting platform that attaches to the base of your camera and allows for quick on and off camera mounting to the tripod. Unique in the market, the collar lock system on the head is designed for one hand operation. To operate, a simple turn of the collar unlocks the head allowing it to be reset in the desired position. Just relock and you?re ready to capture images. It?s extremely quick and easy since there is no need to fumble with multiple locking knobs. (A quick tip from the professionals: if you use multiple cameras, have a quick release mounting platform for each camera you own. When using the tripod, it is then simple to switch cameras without having to detach and re-attach the mounting plate to your other camera.) This model has three section tubular aluminum legs with metal quick lever leg locks for quick and easy leg positioning. Simply unlock the leg lever, extend the leg to the desired position, relock the leg lever, and begin taking pictures. The manual lift center column makes those final tripod height adjustments smooth and easy. Unlock the center column lock knob and simply lift the center column to the desired height. Also, each leg has independent, three position leg angles, including standard, semi-low and low angle positions. This feature will allow for more flexibility and stability when using the tripod.
