 Bate and Switch!! They still owe me money for returned item! May 4, 2008

I bought this thinking it was Vangaurd, and trust me, its not! It's cheap, looks cheap, and couldn't trust to put anything in there. So I left a bad review, and their customer service called me right away. They told me they want to work with me, so I was actually happy about it at first. So thought it would be easier just to replace it with another product, Sakar video light, well guess what, another bait and switch. They sent me the lesser costing, cheapest video light I've ever seen, and it wasn't what I ordered, again! They still owe me money!!
Bad News Its not what your paying for Bate and Switch March 4, 2008

I was very unhappy with the purchase and I sent it back. It was not what it looks like when you get it to your door. 47-Street Photo plays bate and switch games. There customer service was a little reluctant to give me my money back, but when I explained that the product that they shipped was not the product on the Website. They said that they did not carry the product from the vender any longer and gave me the next best thing. Fat chance, it was a cheap case made in china and if you call cardboard a hard case, plus the demissions were all wrong. "Smaller": Boxes that ship Apple computers are sturdier. In the end; It cost me the shipping cost. They didn't refund me the shipping. I guess I got off lucky compare to other consumers dealing with 47-Street Photo. Please research 47-Street Photo before you buy. There is allot of good online review sites that will give you a good idea about the merchant. I should of went there myself before my purchase. "Lesson learned" If it sounds to good to be true, in most cases it's not.

I just purchased a Nikon D70s and wanted to keep all my Nikon equipement in one location that could be used for both storage and protection. I previously had a Nikon 6006 (film) body and two lens that I wanted to keep handy since I still shoot "film" on occassion. I ended up using both the dividers AND the foam by cutting out exactly where I wanted the divider to go and then cutting out the foam around the divider. This gave added strength and support to the foam since the lenses and two camera bodies were placed relatively close with only a couple of "squares" of foam between. I also had extra space for filters, battery chargers and extra batteries for both cameras and the flash. There was no shifting of the items when the case was caried by the handle and the latches and hinges all appear to be as good as more expensive cases found in camera stores. This is an excellant choice if you have more than one camera body or multiple lenses/flashes or other added equipement.
