Just like it was supposed to be April 15, 2008 This kit is a good choice for the price. The filters are excellent, they have the pouch to hold them. All three are dual mounted so you can stack them as well which I have noticed lacking on a lot of other filters.
Must Have for DSLR April 7, 2008 This item is a must have for any DSLR camera. Fits over most filters already used. Easy to spin for the polarization and also easy to take off.
great buy for the price April 7, 2008 i'm a beginer and i purchased these for their for the low price and the recommendations of personal friends and professionals. The uv filter serves its purpose as a protector. The circular polarizer works wonderfully to enhance the colors in bright sunlight and even cloudy conditions. I have used the warming filter a couple of times to take pictures of my fish in my 55gallon saltwater tank, it has worked wonderfully to enhance the colors of my fish through the glass and high output florescent lighting. I would recommend these to anyone not wanting to spent a lot of money after spending a lot on your camera.
Nice basic filters April 5, 2008 Nice basic set of filters. I still have to find where to use the warming filter, but the CP clearly improves sky when shooting outside and sun is shining. UV is for protecting the lens in all other cases. CP takes out one stop, so not good when shooting in dark.
For some reason, when changing the filters, the threads don't align easily. Usually I have to turn the filter around few times until they align. Can't tell if it's because of the threads on my lens, or the filter. Minor annoyance, and doesn't happen if you keep just one filter on the lens.
Tiffen UV filter March 10, 2008 I am not a photography expert but have taken many photos over the last 30 years. The filter seems to be exactly what was advertised though I have not done any "testing" of it other than to use it. No problems. Seems to be well made. Got it mainly to protect main lens. If I needed another UV (protection) filter I would not hesitate to get another one of these. Was delivered promptly and well packaged. Gave 4 stars (instead of 5) because I don't have a way to completely test it's ability to deal with UV problems.
