2 out of 5 stars Not for the majority...   October 11, 2007
First off, let me say that the only products of any quality above sub-standard in this package are the lenses, but even then, beware--they are 37mm and my camera has a 43mm lens. While they included an adapter, I will never use any of their lenses. Unfortunately, that was the primary reason I bought this package and I've already ended up purchasing better quality lenses that actually fit my camera. When using the adapter and the camera is zoomed out, you can see the lens rounding off the edges. While it's not as obvious on the filters, the two lenses have such an obvious black ring it's pathetic. Additionally, the lens quality on the telephoto lenses actually blurs my picture more than it enhances it. I've done several tests in several conditions and the picture is always clearer without either lens, despite the fact that they are both touted as "high definition" and enhancing my picture. I will never use either of the two lenses.

The other items are typical cheap products. The mini-table top tripod is about as worthless as a Happy Meal toy, and just as useful. The regular tripod isn't too bad, although I would have wanted a nicer one with easier to use joints and more than one level indicator. Worth no more than $20 itself. The camera bag isn't too bad, definitely not for a primary bag, however. I use it as a secondary bag when I don't need as much equipment--my primary bag I use to house all my lenses, extra batteries, and other equipment. No way would half that stuff fit in this bag. The light is half decent at best, I had to exchange mine because the first one didn't work. It's brightness helps but only minimally and only in close range, extreme close range. The extra battery is helpful, but big. Haven't used it enough or long enough to tell you much more than that. The maintenance kit and head cleaner are nice add-in products, should prove useful when needed. And of course the pack of tapes is a nice bonus.

So, all in all, I would say that although this package has some useful products, it is definitely not worth the price. The supposed premiere products of the package--the lenses--are not great. The filters would work well on a lens of the same size, although the telephoto and wide angle lens would still not be good even if used on the right size. If your lens is not 37mm, don't even consider this package. Even if an amateur and you say you don't care if everything is perfect, trust me, you WILL care when using those lenses.

Feel free to contact me with any other questions pertaining to this package or products I used to replace products within this package.

3 out of 5 stars You pay for what you get...   August 22, 2007
I purchased this product since I needed a spare battery. I said hey, what the heck...lets pay $30-40 more and get everything else with it. The most useful of the pack was the carry case and the wide lens which helps out alot and gives you a wider viewing angle. After using the UV and other lenses I'm not too sure if I noticed a difference. The big disappointment was with the light. Going into it I had low expectations, but then I tried it and it worked great for close shots...that is for the 30min it lasted me. The light bulb when out right away. I emailed the sellers and called them, but no reply. In the end the deal is ok, but do you really need all the other stuff?
