best Speedlight! July 11, 2008 My Dad uses this everyday! He doesn't want to put anything on his nikons but the SB800!
Super Flash July 4, 2008 I've been a photography buff for many years and have used many flash units. This one ooutdoes them all....in Spades.
Excellent flash July 3, 2008 Flash was a gift for my husband who just loves everything about the flash. The only negative is the weight....slightly heavy. But not too heavy to want another.
Excellent Product June 28, 2008 I am just amazed by the qualities of this product. It is very easy to use with my Nikon D40X. There are more complicated settings and features for more creativity, if desired.
Nikon D300 with two SB-800 June 25, 2008 I am a part-time photographer for hire. There are times when I simply cannot pack all my gears to shot at locations, therefore the two SB-800 are so useful to me. I have been very happy with the results and so are my customers. My only word of caution is that the SB-800 drains my batteries extremely fast. I use Energizer Lithium (4 AA for ~$9.00 at most stores). After about 20-25 shots, I had to replace them with new batteries. It's not that the batteries are drained or dead, but it is that the batteries are over-heated. You must take out the batteries and let them cool until the next session. At any rate, the SB-800 is perfectly suited for all your photographic needs.
