It does the job November 23, 2008 It's just a remote control. I wish you can operate the camera from behind
A must-have for Olympus digital SLR users October 15, 2008 Having just entered the world of dSLRs, I was looking for a way to trigger the camera shutter while the camera was on a tripod. This does it so much better than the old cable releases - now I can trigger the camera while I'm in a group shot, or I can use the bulb setting for long shots while using an infrared filter or doing pinhole shots (using a modified camera body cap). There are two buttons for bulb--one opens the shutter (and keeps it open) and the other closes it. It is tiny, so it could be easily lost. However, I wouldn't hesitate as the price on Amazon was a deal.
Even "cute" things cando a great job September 10, 2008 It was built by Olympus and for Olympus. It has worked perfectly under all conditions. Olympus has operating perameters for you to stay within (but who doesen't)such as direct sunlight, limited distance and angles, etc. As long as you read the simple instructions, you can't go wrong.
Does the trick August 25, 2008 It does the trick,,,you do have to be in direct line of the sensor otherwise it takes a lil finnagle,,my only reason for not giving it the full 5 star treatment is,,if small-only a few inches ling and wide,,I had to buy 2 because I lost one easily,,,there is no key chain or 'connector' ability to keep track of it!
Good product July 25, 2008 Buen producto que reune las caracteristicas que se ofrecian. Es suficiente para el uso para el que fue comprado. Buena relacion precio-valor.
