5 out of 5 stars Good protection for your lens   June 21, 2008
Ever since I got into digital photography, I never used special filters for any photographic effects. Seems like it is easier to use Photoshop to apply the different effects versus constantly changing filters. But the traditional UV filter works great as protection for the camera lens. I would rather get a smudge or a scratch on a couple dollar filter than on a couple hundred dollar lens.

Great price for this item. Works well with my wife's canon digital EOS camera.

4 out of 5 stars Good for protection   June 1, 2008
I just use this for protection in dusty or sandy or saltwater situations and it works well.

I got few of them for every lens what i have. You know that how important is protection.

5 out of 5 stars Tiffen makes a top-notch product!   May 24, 2008
I buy tiffen UV protectors for all my lenses. They don't seem to degrade any of the images optically, and provide an added layer of protection against dust and scratches. A sound investment.
