3 out of 5 stars Camera backpack   October 3, 2008
This is a great backpack that lets you carry a camera and several lenses and other accessories. The downside of this bag is the size. the nose (top) is not as deep as the rest of the bag. Also the sides are a bit soft and may only offer minimum protection

5 out of 5 stars Excellent item   October 3, 2008
The product is what I expected it to be. I had seen it in the store before I ordered it from Amazon.com. As always,Amazon is a reliable source of online purchases.

3 out of 5 stars Not as large as I thought   October 2, 2008
When I looked into buying this backpack, it was pictured with two cameras, lenses and other camera accessories. I have two cameras, a wide angle, telephoto and zoom lens plus other accessories and am not able to fit all of the equipment into the bag the way I thought I would. I now have two camera bags to accomodate my equipment - disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars Big, mobile gear bag   September 30, 2008
I bought this bag about the time I originally bought my 350D and it's more than satisfied me on two overseas trips and numerous domestic trips, camping trips, and of course family gatherings. I have yet to buy enough lenses to fill it, and even if I did have that much glass, it still has enough storage in the front compartments to pack a lunch and any other small personal items you might want for a daytrip.

However, it should be noted that this is not the big camera bag for everybody. While the backpack form factor is great for lugging your gear, you cannot simply unzip the main compartment and look through your lenses while you are still carrying it. To protect your gear, you should unshoulder the backpack and lay it flat to gain access to the main compartment. I imagine for a lot of really busy photographers, this would be a deal breaker. In fact, I would even recommend to anyone who buys this bag that you always zip the main compartment zippers to one side or the other. Leaving them at the top middle is just asking for gravity to open your bag for you, resulting in the dstruction of all your lenses.

Pros:
-Huge
-Comfortable
-Durable
-Low-profile compared to normal camera bags

Cons:
-Doesn't allow access-on-the-fly
-Side pockets/straps useless for a standard sized Nalgene bottle
-Any kind of zipper failure for the main compartment could be catastrophic

(if I can find a way to revise my review now to 4-stars, I think that's probably more accurate, now that I think about it)

4 out of 5 stars Satisfied   September 30, 2008
The backpack has a lot of space inside to keep all your accessories organized. I was able to hold 3 small soda bottles in one of the pockets. I like the fact that it has a strap to hold a tripod. Overall I'm pleased with the product.
