MC-36 o=power button?? August 15, 2008 This is a great product by Nikon...however, major drawback is it's missing an on/off button. Come on Nikon...someone on the team must have figured this out
Nikon Digital SLR Shutter Release June 7, 2008 I bought this for doing macro setups with a Nikon D200. It has more features than I really need but it is very well made and the remote wand is easy to use without looking. Like most things Nikon, it is expensive.
Cable needs to be just a little longer May 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This cable release is pretty nice, perhaps too much functionality and a little more spent than probably needed, but my new D300 required this or a wireless remote. The only real problem is the cable needs to be at least 12 to 18 inches longer. For that and the price, only 3 stars.
Excellent March 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Works perfectly. I have used it in harsh conditions doing my volcano photography and it's going strong. Even after numerous times dropping it on rock.
Highly recommended for macro and long exposures March 26, 2008 I bought this for my D200 last month and has already become a must carry item with the camera. Time lapse/multiple exposure feature has been very helpful for taking group pictures where I need to be in the frame as well. I program multiple exposures 1 second apart and typically few frames turn out great where everyone is relaxed and looking at the camera!.
It is easy to program and easy to operate but a longer cord could be better.
