Comments: Hardcover. 2 books for the price of 1. Appalachian Portraits & Appalachian Lives. Appalachian Portraits is in excellent condition. Pages are in mint condition, crisp with no marks or folds. No writing or marks. Book jacket has some slight curling on top & bottom with faint surface marring from coffee table use. Has a slight dent on both the bottom back & front right corner. One owner. Purchased new from University Press of Mississippi. This book is practically impossible to find anywhere. If purchased by 09/30/08 I will include another Shelby Lee Adams hardback book titled Appalachian Lives, introduction by Vicki Goldberg, University Press of Mississippi, copyright 2003 as a thank you gift. Jacket front: Eric with Spike the Rooster. Book and jacket are like new in mint condition. Read the reviews. Excellent.
