good tutorial January 7, 2009 This book was recommended to me by a photoshop trainer I hired for a 2-day private photoshop CS3 training session. The first day was lessons straight out of the book, with the aide of a professional helping along the way and it was great. The experience gave me confidence and an understanding of the way photoshop CS3 is navigated to move forward in the future. I feel this book, and it's lessons will enable me to achieve that on my own now.
A Great Product December 12, 2008 This is a great book for getting exposed to most of the features of Photoshop. It really does not go into great detail but it does cover lots of features. The best thing for the novice is the step by step instructions. It comes with a cd containing the required photos and some video examples.
Happy with my purchase December 3, 2008 I'm very happy with my purchase. The product was in perfect condition and I recieved it in a timely manner.
I am very satisfied with the product and service provided.
Adobe Photoshop CS3 December 3, 2008 Classroom in a book is an excellent book to learn how to use Photoshop. I've used other Classroom in a book products and they are a great way to self educate yourself.
Good but could be better November 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My college class uses this book. The instructions, overall are good, but the tool icons are way too small to identify easily . Some instructions will tell you to close such a tool out of the blue, but the instruction to open it was never given in the first place. Trying to see what the instruction was all about, one looks for that tool, in vain. The index was no help. Had to ask/email my instructor for help.
