| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This is the famous posing guide that is carried in 1,000's of camera bags all over the World. The Pink Pocket Poser became a classic when the original version was released in 1987. It has now been revised and updated to this new style to become one of the most useful tools that you can have if you work with glamour models. It is packed full of the rules of glamour posing and contains everything you need to know about posing your models. The little cartoon drawings make the book so easy to follow that even the most complicated poses are simple for you and your model to understand. Pages of practical hints, tips, rules and ideas. Numerous useful tips to help with your own work. Posing for men's magazines. A selection of 'Page 3' poses for you to copy. Over 150 ready-to-use poses and ideas. 'I loaned my first Pink Poser to a friend. I never saw it again. The second one was stolen by a model. My third is now attached to my camera bag with a piece of string.' John S Bowden (USA).

WAY over priced at $19
This guide is really for the glamour photographer (Photographer of nude or scantily clad women). The book is about 100 pages long, with 80% spent on describing the rules of posing along with many annecdotes. The last 20 pages are drawn poses for 'page 3 girls', men's magazines and general poses.
A Nice Little Expense Book December 1, 2008 I think this is a well done book with the basis. It is done with humor which I think makes you remember the points better. The price is high for what you get, but I'd buy it again.
JJ MacCrimmon November 17, 2008 I recently was searching for a memorable and descriptive book on posing models. Posing handbooks seem to be exercises in self congratulation or poorly organized for showing effective positioning. What worse is most I've read aren't memorable. The Pink Pocket Poser book offered a humorous and very clear summary of all the do's and don't for glamour model photography. This book makes the task of setting position and using props easy with sketches and cartoons. It's something I now study up on before each model shoot.
Excellent & Funny Idea Starter September 29, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Even though this book is written by a Brit and displays the singular humor Brits are famous for, this is one of the best posing guides for glamour and boudoir photography that I have come across. Add to that the very amusing line drawings the author has done to illustrate the "rules" he lays down and you have a very fun way to have your imagination and creativity piqued.
I have even shown the book to a couple of models that I was shooting and we were having a hard time with posing ideas and the results were amazing! Their own creativity was jump-started and the poses began to flow.
Very helpful, EXPENSIVE book... September 2, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This has excellent advice, in very simple terms, that anyone can take advantage of. Though I have years of experience in Glamour Photography, I did learn some helpful stuff. But, it must cost like Fifty Cents to print this, and does not deliver on bang for the buck.....
