This book was on the coffee table at a rented beach cottage. It was quite the conversation piece. All eight vacationers present agreed it was truly and uniquely awful, very weird and occasionally creepy. We hope the cottage owner received this book as a gag gift. Try to picture this: a photo of a large bird of prey with a tiny photo-shopped human infant dangling from its beak. Really, you'd have to see this book to appreciate how very bad it is.

I know, I know, mention the name Gina Lollabrigida and guys sigh thinking of the gorgeous Italian film star of a few decades ago. She's probably still gorgeous, but here's news: she's also a first-rate photographer as is shown in "The Wonder Of Innocence." This collection of her photographic work takes us on a surrealistic tour,an imaginative catalogue of photos of children with animals, plants, and other wonders of nature. Now, why Mother Teresa of Calcutta is listed as a co-author is a puzzler to me, as well it might be to Ms. Lollabrigida.
