Greyhounds Rule! January 7, 2009
This book is amazing. If you already have greyhounds at home you'll love the photos and the wonderfully written text. If you haven't yet adopted a greyhound, after reading this book you'll want to get to your local greyhound adoption agency (Greyhound Angels Adoption!!!!) and adopt a greyhound ASAP!!!!!! I'm taking this book to our Meet and Greets for further evidence of how greyt these dogs are.
The True Essence Of The Greyhound December 30, 2008
This book captures the true essence of the greyhound through images and words. I shared 12 years of my life with my adopted greyhound and she brought a tranquility and joy to my life I have not experienced before or since.
My job prevents me from having a dog at this time but when I am able to do so again I will adopt another greyhound.
I highly recommend this book to all those who have greyhounds, are interested in adopting one or those who treasure the animal world.

A fantastic book! The photos in this book require one to pause, meditate and really examine the heart and soul of the greyhound. Barbara Karant's love of the breed, coupled with her sensitive photography exemplify the true greyhound devotee's spirit-that of making the world a better place for greyhounds. Too, in the spirit of the book, is making the greyhound an important factor in the betterment of the world. Can one really do this by photographs in a book? Barbara has! For anyone interested in the breed, capturing the essence of an animal or learning to love the heart of a dog, this book is for you.
